The Process
The Tremco Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) Roof System is a Thermoplastic, high reflective, light‐weight, Energy Star and California Title 24 compliant roof system. The TPO Roof System can be mechanically attached, ballasted or fully adhered.
Specifications: The TPO roof system can be used in a wide variety of roof applications. As with any roofing installation, application requirements can change from project to project.

Remove all asphalt, rust, paint and dirt at flashing areas and termination points where there will be direct contact with the membrane, mastic or sealant.
If the existing roof is coal tar pitch or has been repaired with cold tar pitch, a vapor retarder is required to prevent staining of the new membrane.
Roof insulation shall be mechanically fastened or adhered in accordance with the roof insulation manufacturer’s recommendation.
